| Yay! So... 11 dolly fanatics decended on my house on Sunday, bearing lots of little munchkins. I think there were about 35 dolls there. Not so many, actually, for our crowd. ^^; Anyway, it was a prirate-y sort of theme. ^_^ Gale, I got lots of your crew! And Waaaaah... Krishna! The two photos I took of your crew came out horridly blurry. ;_; Pooo, cuz your awesome outfit was so gorgeous! I should have taken more photos. The ones below are seriously almost the entirety of what I took. ( The pictures, 22 total )Thanks for coming guys - it was a ton of fun! :D | |

| This is really random, but does anyone reading this use Second Life? My major assignment for the term in one of my subjects is on SL, and I've never used it. ^^; Just wondering if anyone is a resident there? - Mood:headache-ridden

| I'm on a pleasant high right now - I've been having one of those days in which everything is just lovely and nice and great. :D
Went out last night with my best friend and a couple of her uni friends and had mexican food and then loads of chocolately goodness at the pub with nummy warm brownies. Had Japanese class today, which is blissfully laid back and has a fairly nice group of people in it.
And through my Japanese class.... I have made geek!friends. :D This may sound a bit of a strange thing to be so happy about, but I relish having geek friends of the otaku sort. I have very few friends that I can generally fangirl to/with (my lovely dolly friends aside), and being that fangirlism is sadly a large part of my life, I'm always glad to meet people that share this interest with me (read: squee with). Jpop and anime and such. But I guess Japanese class tends to draw these sorts of people out, so I now have to otaku-ish friends from there. And, as an added bonus, the guy that completes our foursome of hanging-outness for lunch break and teams and such is a rather hot, nice guy. :D No idea if he actually has a girlfriend, and he is not (sadly) into anime, jpop and such, but he's nice. And there's been a very large lack of nice (hot) guys around in my life recently, so yeah. Tis good!
ANd now, I am soon off to my friend's house for cheesy lagsanga goodness and straberry daqueries and playing Wii. My day of geek is complete. ^_^ Sometimes it's so nice not to have to be normal. :D
(The only downer being that I've just found out how damnably TALL Lati Blue boys are next to other minis... I think I'm going to have a bit of a problem there... >_<;;;;) - Mood:happy

| Your Score: RAVENCLAW! You scored 28% Slytherin, 48% Ravenclaw, 24% Gryffindor, and 24% Hufflepuff! Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
If you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind.Ravenclaws are known for their intelligence, ingenuity, and lifelong thirst for knowledge. </p> To follow the crowd... ^^; And ZOMG, wth? I went to my Int'l Bus class yesterday, and it seemed fine. The lecturer was kinda funny, which was a nice surprise. Anyway, I don't know anyone in my lecture, but at the end of it, I got AMBUSHED. Seriously. I was about to leave and these girls came to sit next to me and the girl in front of me turned around. And they were all like "Hey~! I was in your finance class last term." And I went "Uhm, oookaay. Hi?" Turns out they wanted to snag me to be in their group project team, just cuz somehow word got round my group got the highest mark for that finance assignment. So why not, you know? I'm a bit peeved at being so conveniently used, but well, I don't know anyone else, so I thought why not. I swaped emails and numbers with them, and then... At 12:30 AM, one of the girls rang me. I mean, WTF? Seriously! I've met her all of once, and she rings me at half past twelve at night? I didn't answer it - I couldn't talk anyway - both my parents were asleep and I for once was going to turn in early too cuz I'm mildly sick. I'm sorry, but you DON'T ring someone you don't know at all at that time of night! I hesitate to ring even my friends any time past 10pm, unless I absolutely KNOW they're up and able to talk and if I have good reason to. Just, GRRRRR. It annoys me greatly. And then one of the OTHER girls rings me at 8am the next morning. WHAT THE FUCK? I mean, SERIOUSLY. It's the first week of term, and one day after I gave you my number. Unless you're a seriously hot guy, this is just not right. ;_; - Mood:annoyed

| This is another reason why I've never really sent out doll heads to be painted. I hate having to wait around for them to come back. I'm not too fussed, generally, about waiting in general, but I start to get annoyed when it's weeks and weeks... more so if it's weeks without any word. >_<;;; I think I'm just impatient because now Pi's all put together, I want Jae to be all put together too. Plus, I've got all these cool clothes and stuff for him and I feel creepy dressing up his head-less body. ^^; And of course I'm eager to see the face ups themselves!
My little Chubby head has also been in the mail for exactly 3 weeks now. So I'm really hoping something hasn't happened to him - this is the longest any package has taken to reach me. Is 3 weeks to early to get worried?
To put my mind off the waiting game, I've been doing a bit of pattern drafting and outfit designing. We're having a pirate themed meet (YAY!) on the 5th of August at my house, so I need to whip up some pirate-y costumes for at least one of the crew. I had the strange urge to try and do a Sky Pirate outfit, but I realise I'm missing some vital things I don't know how to make myself, like goggles and a pocketwatch. XD So, normal pirate it is. hehe.
Got my first International Business Strategy class tomorrow. O_o I wonder how it'll be. Why are all my lectures at least 3 hours long? ;_; It better be interesting or I'm going to be falling asleep. - Mood:thirsty

| I'm not sure if it's because I'm generally too laid back (or you know, lazy) to care, but for fucks sake, people get their backs up about a lot of really stupid shit on the internet. And making a big deal about stupid little things is just... well, stupid. >_<;;; sorry, rantdom. It's not even for dolls, but for my writing comm which is usually completely hassle free with a lot of very nice people on it, but there always must be drama, right? -_- At least it was over relatively quickly. Blah blah blah. Re-wrote my resume last night into proper resume form that does not include my high school subjects now. ^^: In more fun news...! I bought my first English language PSP game today. XD XD hehe. All my other ones are from Japan... I just found them too expensive here and nothing major that's caught my eye has come out. But there was a huge massive sale at EB games, and I had a look round. Bought a Dynasty Warriors game at 1/2 price. I likes me some pretty boy fighting. :D And in fun stuff for you, this site is awesome~ Songs to Weart Pants to.Including the magical melodies of such classics as: I AM THE FIRST FIFTY DIGITS OF PI STEP IN 2 THA BARBER-HOP HIP-SHOP BEWARE THE SEA ANENEMONE I AM A SAD SAD TOASTER MADE OF GLASS I EMPTY MY BABY SONGS TO WEAR PANTS TO THEME SONG (with pants solo!) | Yeah I'm done too... was out all of yesterday so I read it mostly until 5am and then from 1pm to 3pm. XD Go me.
It was eons better then the last two books. I'm rather pleased with it all actually. Although I, like many others have decided that craptastic epilogue will need to be removed from my book. Seriously, WTF?
I'm waiting now for the fandom epilogues, to see their glorious crackness.
And I dunno, I'm pleased Rowling has said she's not going to write any more Harry. It'd suck if she did. I just hope she keeps her word on it. - Mood:pleased

| My folks are driving me bonkers... well, more so my mum. I guess this is what happens when you have holidays - too much time at home. >_<;;; even though I have been going out a fair bit, it's still, urgh, grating. I dunno. I just feel like screaming 'leave me aloooooone' some of the time. >_< I guess I'm lucky I don't have siblings! lol. Anyway. Went to the electronics store today to buy a new rice cooker (our one is as old as I am. XD) and woot! Major sales on storage devices. Sooo... got me a nice little 4gig flash disk for $50, and a proper external hard drive. My computer HD is already getting a bit crowded (WHY is the diskspace so small?!) so I picked up a 320 gig external HD for like, half price. Woot! :D Now I can keep all my Jap dramas without having to burn everything to discs that I then loose. mwahahah. Plus I have new speakers too (my old ones kinda started to crackle and generally... die), so I can hear them too. :D Haven't done one of these in a very long time... though honestly nothing really pops out at me too much at the moment. Sad for the number of pages there are these days! ( Y!J Waaaaaatch!! )And wtf... some girl on Gen Disc posted about her mum not letting her buy a doll or something and then 10 minutes later comes back and posts 'bumping da angst' on her own thread. *bangs head against wall* - Mood:bored
